is in charge of 1 re -A 2 id Raymond Wiley Laby Guidry Breaux Bridge Funeral services were held 7 at St. Bernard Catholic Church for Laby Guidry, 91, who died Saturday, April 5, 2003, at Lafayette General Medical Center. Burial was in Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia. Survivors include two daughters, Rena Guidry of Lafayette and Lou Anna G. Hebert of Breaux Bridge; one sister, Lota Montet of Breaux Bridge; nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Pellerin Funeral Homes Inc. was in charge of arrangements. Marie Louise Guidry Arnaudville Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. today (Wednesday), April 9 at St. Francis Regis Catholic Church for Marie Louise Guidry, 76, who died Monday, April 7, 2003, at Doctors Hospital in Opelousas.

Burial will be in St. Francis Regis Cemetery. She is survived by her brother, Roxie Guidry of Arnaudville. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Leland and Rudolph Guidry; and a sister, Audrey Guidry. Pellerin Funeral Homes Inc.

is in charge of arrangements. Jules A. Kennison Arnaudville Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. today (Wednesday), April 9 at St. Francis Regis Catholic Church for Jules Anthony Kennison, 73, who died Sunday, April 6, 2003, at Lafayette General Medical Center.

Burial will be in St. Francis Regis Mausoleum. He is survived by his wife, Mary Hebert Kennison of Arnaudville; and four brothers, Alex A. Kennison and Earl Kennison, both of Arnaudville, Carrol Kennison of Lafayette and Harold Kennison of Cecilia. He was preceded in death by a brother, Louis Kennison.

Pellerin Funeral Homes Inc. is in charge of arrangements. WilbertJ. Lecompte Arnaudville Funeral services were held Saturday, April 5 at St. Francis Regis Catholic Church for Wilbert Joseph Lecompte, 78, who died Wednesday, April 2, 2003, at Metropolitan Hospice in New Orleans.

Burial was in St. Francis Regis Mausoleum. Mr. Lecompte was a native of Arnaudville and a' resident of Violet for more than 40 years. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in the European Theater in World War II, and was a retired mechanic for Greyhound Bus Gregory Paul Thibodeaux Breaux Bridge Funeral services were held Monday, April 7 at St. Bernard catholic Church for Gregory Paul Thibodeaux, 47, who died Friday, April 4, 2003, at his residence. Burial was in St. Bernard Cemetery 2.

Survivors include his parents, Harris John Thibodeaux Sr. and Mary Sylvia C. Thibodeaux, both of Breaux Bridge; two brothers, Harris J. Thibodeaux Jr. and his wife Dottie of San Antonio, Texas, and Bryan L.

Thibodeaux of Breaux Bridge; three sisters, Peggy T. Zerangue and her husband Keith, Lydia T. Schetele and her husband Bryan, and Maria. T. Guidry, all of Breaux Bridge.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Joseph Clayton and Lydia Granger Castille and his paternal grandparents, H.I. and Inez Boudreaux Thibodeaux. Pellerin Funeral Homes Inc. was in charge of arrangements. (Pd.

Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia. Mrs. Dupre (Hallie) was a native of Patterson and the daughter of Cora Thibodeaux and Chris Patterson. She completed high school in Patterson and attended Southwestern, now UL Lafayette, where she earned a B.A.

degree in physical education. After completing college, she taught two years in Cecilia. She then changed to social work and worked for 30 years as a welfare visitor in several parishes. For 20 years she did volunteer work at Lafayette General Hospital where she retired in 1991. She is survived by two sisters-in-law, Mrs.

Pete Olivier and Irene Dupre; and a nephew, J.J. Dupre. She was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Dupre; her parents', Christian Peterson and Cora Thibodeaux Peterson; and three sisters, Ruthe Carlson, Mrs. Clay (Prudy) Vice and Mrs. Louis (Odys) Kihnel.

Martin Hospital. Burial was in St. Bernard Cemetery 2. Survivors include her husband, Eugene P. LeBlanc Sr.

of Breaux Bridge; three sons, Mark LeBlanc and his fiancee Judy Patin, Marcus Dean LeBlanc and his fiancee Paula Navarre, and Eugene P. LeBlanc all of Breaux Bridge; one daughter, Marlene LeBlanc Dore and her husband Dean of Breaux Bridge; and three grandchildren, Tiffany Dore, Treg Dore and Kinzie LeBlanc. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ulric Stoute and Levie Leleux Stoute. Pellerin Funeral Homes Inc. was in charge of arrangements.

(Pd. Adv.) Champagne Cecilia Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 8 at St. Joseph Catholic Church for Raymond Wiley Champagne, 67, who died Saturday, April 5, 2003, at his residence. Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery.

He is survived by two daughters, Charlene C. Broussard and her husband Raymond and Elizabeth C. Guidry and her husband Howard, all of Breaux Bridge; one son, David Champagne and his wife Gina Babineaux of Henderson; two brothers, Autry Champagne of Cecilia and Joseph Wesley Champagne of Port Neches, Texas; two sisters, Annette C. Berard of Cecilia and Anna Mailey of Port Neches; five grandchildren, Dorsey Broussard, Gabriel Broussard, Maria Broussard, Alex Guidry and Jade Guidry. He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel Champagne and Enola Huval Champagne; and two brothers, Lee Allen and Roland Champagne.

Adv.) rvr 4 Av; Gurdie Montet Duplechin Cecilia Funeral services were held Friday, April 4 at St. Joseph Catholic Church for Gurdie Montet Duplechin, 73, who died Tuesday, April 1, 2002, at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette.

Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery. Survivors include a son, Shane Champagne and his wife Mary of Breaux Bridge; a step son, Shenny Duplechin and his wife Vickie of St. Martinville; a sister, Bunice M. LeBlanc and her husband Ivan of Lafayette; and two grandchildren, Shanntelle C.

Douet and her husband Troy of St. Martinville and Cassidy Champagne of Cecilia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fils Duplechin; her parents, Euclide Montet and Amelia Montet; an infant son; two sons, Carroll David and Michael Dale Champagne; three brothers, Shelton, Curnice and Herman Montet; and two sisters, Verlyn LeBlanc and Genevieve Montet. Louis Chapel for Henry "Ford" Narcisse, 72, who died Tuesday, April 1 at Lafayette General Medical Center. Burial was in St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville. He is survived by one son, Farrell Narcisse of West Monroe; two daughters, Romona Narcisse and Gretchen Ebow, both of St.

Martinville; three brothers, Herman Narcisse of Chicago, 111., Sterling Narcisse of St. Martinville and "Fegg" Narcisse of Galveston, Texas; and 11 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters. Golden Meadows Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Vera Resweber Clovis, Cal.

Vera Taylor Resweber, 76, died March 25, 2003, following a short illness. Burial was in the Clovis Cemetery. A former resident of St. Martinville, she is survived by her husband of 56 years Harris "Bolo" Resweber, a native of St. Martinville; four children, Glenn, Sara, Allison and David; and eight grandchildren.

Amanda L. Thibodeaux Catahoula Funeral services were held Monday, April 7 at St. Rita Catholic Church for Amanda L. Thibodeaux, 83, who died Friday, April 4, 2003, at Lafayette General Medical Center. Mrs.

Thibodeaux was a native of Catahoula and a resident of Lafayette. Burial was in St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville. She is survived by a son, Aurelian Thibodeaux of Lafayette; one brother, Vincent Latiolais of St.

Martinville; two sisters, Celina Melancon of Catahoula and Felecion Allemand of Cecilia; three grandchildren, one step grandchild, five great-grandchildren, one step greatgrandchild and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norris 3 nth Antoine Auguillard Cecilia Funeral services were held Saturday, April 5 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church for Antoine Auguillard, 95, who died Tuesday, April 1, 2003, at Lady of the Oaks Nursing Home in Lafayette. Burial was in St. Rose of Lima Cemetery.

Mr. Auguillard served as an usher at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. He is survived by his three sons, Anthony Auguillard and Joseph Lowel Auguillard, both of Lafayette, and Leroy Auguillard of Duson; a daughter, Emma Auguillard of Lafayette; one brother, John B. Auguillard of New Orleans; one sister, Francine Auguillard of Lafayette; six grandchildren, four greatgrandchildren and three step grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret C. Auguillard; his parents, Charles Auguillard and Cedalize Auguillard; one son, Lawrence Auguillard; and a daughter, Theresa Fuselier. Pellerin Funeral Homes Inc. was in charge of arrange- ments. (Pd.

Goudeau of Loreauville; a I son-in-law, Wallace Goudeau of Loreauville; one sister, Mrs. Lee (Luna) Thibodeaux of Breaux Bridge; two grand-i sons, Shane Goudeau and Chris Goudeau, both of Loreauville; two granddaughters, Beth Goudeau and Gerneth Goudeau, both of Loreauville; and one great-granddaughter, Kaitlyn Romero of Loreauville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmo Broussard; her parents, Bertrand Castex and Laura Roy Castex; four brothers, Clarence, Garland, Harvey and Nolan Castex; and a sis-j ter, Dee Thibodeaux. Pallbearers were Shane Goudeau, Chris Goudeau, Benny Mora, Mark Thibo- deaux, Clark Thibodeaux and Lennet Castex. David Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. (Pd. Adv.)
